Hi everyone ! I just bought "Master the pike" and I really don't know how it works, is it a program based on progressions ? I would like to know how to make a weekly schedule and how the workouts should looks like; I indeed had a acceptable pike, In a standing pile was able to touch the floor with fingers facing backwards but I had a little injury on my left hamstring and in consequence I lost some ROM and If I try to reach a very aggressive depth it turns somewhat uncomfortable at the area lower area of my left glut. Now I'm only able to touch the floor with my fingertips, but now with this program I'm hoping to recover my old ROM.

There is no real set protocol. The basic idea of the Mastery series is that you are given a powerful set of tools with which you can approach your mobility problems with trial and error. Go through all the exercises in the program once (or perhaps do a follow along class?) and select those that feel as if they have a good effect on you, do these for some period of time and then retest all exercises again. The idea here is that you are the expert in what your body feels like and that there exists no 'one size fits all' programming, so you should decide for yourself how to approach your daily stretch work after learning some of the tools. Advice for those starting out is to stretch 'hard' once a week and limber every other day, but eventually you should go by feel; stretch hard whenever you know that it will be useful and otherwise only limber.

Geoff said it nicely. Chuchodani key thing is, that this is completely opposite to what you are used to over on GB. There is not fixed number of reps/secs, you are supposed to work with yourselves to find out what works for you using clues Kit provides, if you find particular exercises that feel good for you - then do them, if some don't or don't seem to have effect, don't do them, but revisit/retest in some time to see what and how has changed.

Suggestion above to try the class is a very good one as well, I've found those classes really useful.

Finally I get it ! I like the concept of the toolbox and also the fact that you're not under a cookie cutter, one exercise that I thing is not having so much impact is the "The Wedge", I'm gonna try those follow along classes and choose the rights exercise for myself. Piotro you hit the point, I'm accustomed to work with GB, for that reason I was trying to figure out how to manage this program. Thank you very much to both of you :), I appreciate your help.

Thanks Piotro and Geoff; perfectly answered.

And Miss O and I have decided that we're going to make follow-on programs for all of the Mastery Series as well as many others because a great many people have expressed simply that follow-on programs are easier to—"follow"! We are trying to cater to all learning styles as far as possible.
