I mentioned a little "breakthrough" stretch: this is one such, for me.

I did not add the contractions (I demo all of them on the "half-pancake, in the Master the Pancake program), but this belongs there, IMHO. It targets the 'underbutt' in a unique way.

Anyhow, try it and let me know what you think.

Yeah I've been playing with this little gem since Greenwich - haven't had as much time as I'd like to have fully explored it... but it's certainly helping me find some interesting corners... The half pancake especially.

I found this movement surprisingly different to the straight leg cossack and I found I could bring my body much closer to my thigh over the extended leg, and what Kit says about the balancing component in the stretching exercises is so true. We have a position in capoeira called negative which is similar but with the knees together but its a transition to other movements (like everything in capoeira ha).
