Kit_L
These two images were taken to promote my yoga classes in Japan in 1986. The teaching location was a western gym called Clark Hatch. Clicking on the thumbnail below will show a larger version. The back story of the photograph was there while on my way to teach one morning at the Clarke Hatch Gym, I stepped off a very small curb (perhaps three inches high). This tiny shock put my back out, radically, for almost 6 months. I literally travelled the main island of Japan to work with teachers in order to solve this problem; all were unsuccessful. I have written about this elsewhere but the point is that I was very flexible in those days and that was when my lower back was at its most unstable. The book Overcome Neck & Back pain came out of this experience.

[DW]
If you want to see something funny; line up the back covers of all 4 'Overcome Neck and Back Pain' editions. Kit goes from super serious --> serious --> quasi-serious --> smiling and possibly caffeinated. IF nothing else speaks for the benefits of the system, this does. De-seriousify yourself and enjoy Life with Stretch Therapy™!
[DW]
And these archival photos are really cool, by the way! I wonder what the kanji says..
