andyfitz Posted August 18, 2023 Posted August 18, 2023 Hi all, just wondering if anyone has any similar looking knee bumps.. As a teenager I definitely suffered with Osgood schlatters disease As an adult in my twenties experienced chronic tendinopathy In recent years it’s settled, mainly I think it’s benefited from freeing up the quads and hip flexors, improving ankle dorsiflexion and including exercises like natural leg extensions I’ve never been as active with regard to playing sports or weight training but it is prone to a ‘on fire type of sensation’ particularly first thing in the mornings. it would be great to hear anyone else’s experience.. or if there are any other suggestions .. andrew
Kit_L Posted August 19, 2023 Posted August 19, 2023 I have seen surfers from the old days (when kneeling was the way people paddled), but not so much recently. Have any other practitioners had any sensible suggestions? And how long before the morning "fire" sensation goes away? 1
andyfitz Posted August 20, 2023 Author Posted August 20, 2023 Thanks for the reply It can a few hours or even linger for a couple of days. Sitting or driving for long periods seems to provoke it most
Kit_L Posted August 22, 2023 Posted August 22, 2023 Perhaps gentle rolling on a soft surface might help. Anyone else have any suggestions?
