Adley Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 I have made good progress over the last few years using the ST system, not just with increased flexibility, but with awareness of the sensations in my body while stretching. I've decided to take on an area I try mostly to avoid. Pelvic Tilt. Just sitting up straight with my legs out in front of me is very challenging. I no longer want to be limited in this way and am ready to begin exploring what is making it hard and what I need to work on. Taking a look at the mastering the pancake series I have found some useful movements to explore right now. Primarily L1-skandasana, L2-Reaching Triangle and Wide Leg Elephant Walk, and E1-Taylor Pose and E2-Under Butt. My form looks very different then what is presented in the videos, but I can tell I'm feeling the places that need to be felt right now. And I have some confidence (hope?) that if I explore them regularly with curiosity and explore relaxing in the places I want to run from I will make progress. I think the idea that I should be at a different point in my flexibility is just noise that will lead to discouragement. This is where I am and i am interested to see where it will go. I'd like to take this community on the journey with me. Adley 1
