Andrew1 Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 During the lying practice, I experience sensitivity and discomfort in the coccyx region as my glutes sink into the floor - I have a bent coccyx. (1) Are there ways the lying practice can be adjusted to my context? (2) If not, what practice might be suitable? Sitting strikes me as the next obvious choice but just wanted to run this by some folks older and wiser than me. Thanks!

If you haven't already done so, I would try using a wedge (pillow(s) or similar) under your knees. I have quite a "bony" coccyx, and this can help me if I am lying on a particularly hard surface. 1
