Tim W Posted August 23, 2021 Posted August 23, 2021 Hi Kit/Olivia, Wondering what the blue mat you use for your studio is? Noticed Kit mentioned it is very comfortable to work on in the comments section of youtube video. I am thinking of grabbing some for myself.
Kit_L Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 I think that ebay will be your best bet; the company that used to sell it (Rick Ravensdale's "Iron Edge") no longer handles this. It's nominally 32mm, and it has the best feel of any surface to work on, and one side is red; the other blue. The pieces are a metre square, too; very convenient. We bought 100 square metres of it. Good luck, and if you do find some, please post.

This looks pretty close to what you're describing: Interlock Jigsaw Mats 1M x 1M 20mm 30mm 40mm And another in the UK: INTERLOCKING SUPERSOFT EVA FLOOR MATS - 32MM
Tim W Posted August 26, 2021 Author Posted August 26, 2021 Thanks guys. I'll keep you posted as to what I get and how comfy I find them. 1
MarkusO Posted August 30, 2021 Posted August 30, 2021 I have a similar model, they vary in quality though. Try to get some samples maybe. If you use them on a wooden floor the mats tend to slide. I got some of those rubber mats you put under carpets, that worked great.
