Jim Pickles Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 Never had this in any of my students, but came across the issue in a website for aerialists. Something to bear in mind. Altered sensation (including numbness) on the upper and outer side of the thigh, often made worse by movement. http://pathologies.lexmedicus.com.au/pathologies/thigh-nerve-entrapment-syndrome-meralgia-paraesthetica-or-bernhardt-roth-syndrome
Kit_L Posted November 23, 2019 Posted November 23, 2019 Thanks for this, Jim. Every time I have a massage and I have to lay on my back for a long while, this can happen to me. As soon as I move, it goes away, so I have never worried about it. 1

Kit_L Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 Well, I wish I could get massaged more often! But seriously, this used to happen wherever I did a lying relaxation, too; that was a bigger problem. Much less common now, for some reason, but it still happens. But because I know it's a temporary phenomenon, zero problem. 1
