  1. Dave is wondering if anybody on here has stumbled on a good explanation for a physical phenomena I have experienced a number of times. Recently it has happened when I did some broad jumps across a stairwell. It usually occurs with an all out jump where I fling my arms. The sensation produced is a slightly lagged sensation (delayed) that lasts for ~30-90 seconds. It is an unpleasant, very deep 'shock' 'recoil' sensations that occurs in the forearms. It feels like my periosteum and is a 'bone ache' like sensation. Similar to when you jump off something high with no shoes (or shoes) and land on the ground and get the 'stingy/ache' in the feet. Anyone know what this is? I would say that because I do not jump regularly it is a de-conditioning thing.. just interested if others have experienced this. [DW]
